Working Group B of the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization held its 38th session in Vienna from 6 to 24 February 2012. The session was chaired by Mr. Hein Haak of the Netherlands.
The delegation of Ukraine took active participation in the meeting. It was composed of the representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, State Space Agency of Ukraine and Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna.

During the session a number of issues related to the activities of the Commission were discussed. The Executive Secretary of the Commission Tibor Toth as well as directors of the relevant departments of the Provisional Technical Secretariat (PTS) presented reports on the activities of the PTS.

Delegations of the Participating Stated reviewed and assessed the reports by the PTS on implementation of the 2011 verification related program, reviewed the verification related work program for 2012 and made relevant recommendations to the Preparatory Commission.

Besides, the delegations considered the issue of the Integrated Field Exercises in 2014. As a result of the discussions the Working Group B recommended to the PrepCom to accept the offer from Jordan to host IFE 2014 on its territory.
