Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna Yevhenii Tsymbaliuk made a comment to "UA: Crimea" regarding the statement by Martin Sajdik on Crimea
"We are aware of the situation with the comments made by Special Representative of the OSCE Slovak Chairmanship in Ukraine and in the Trilateral Contact Group Martin Sajdik in Salzburg, and we have drawn attention of the OSCE Chairmanship to them. We believe that the response provided by Special Representative to the question related to Crimea, status of which had been clearly defined in the UN GA Resolutions, should have been different. The OSCE Chairmaship will consider the situation, but the assurances were provided at the same time, that Martin Sajdik was speaking in his personal capacity, without any instructions from the Chairmanship in this regard. Despite this, in our view, such experienced diplomat as Martin Sajdik, should have been aware of the fact that by delivering such message, even in his personal capacity, he was undermining authority both of his country and the OSCE Chairmanship, said Yevhenii Tsymbaliuk.
