The meeting will be devoted to human rights situation in Crimea
On May 8, 2014, in the OSCE premises (Hofburg, Raatsaal, 5th floor) at 1.15 p.m. an informal briefing on human rights situation for the OSCE participating States to be held.
Mr. Mustafa Dzhemilev, leader of the Crimean Tatar People, member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Mr. Andrey Yurov, member of Moscow Helsinki Group and the Russian presidential Human Rights Council will take part in the briefing.
The meeting is hosted by Amb. Ihor Prokopchuk, Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna, and by Amb. Giedrius Cekuolis, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the OSCE.
The event will be open for media. Upon concluding, the participatns will be available for comments to media.
